The signal of an electroacoustic wave propagating in a transversely periodic inhomogeneous piezoelectric waveguide is converted into a hybrid of electroactive waves of plane and anti-plane deformation, in the case of an inhomogeneous periodic cell of various piezoelectrics in nonacoustic contact. This allows the propagation of hybrid electroacoustic surface waves of the Gulyaev-Bluestein type and Rayleigh-type localized near this boundary along the non-acoustic contact surface of the piezoelectric layers. A hybrid of inhomogeneous electroelastic fields is formed in a layered-inhomogeneous waveguide of piezoelectrics, in the case of non-acoustic contact between layers.Īs a result of the propagation of a three-component electroelastic wave of elastic shear near the interface between piezoelectric media with a non-acoustic contact, a four-component electroelastic wave of plane deformation is induced in the second layer and vice versa. The conditions for the possible formation of waves and the features of their propagation of electroacoustic hybrids in layered composites of piezoelectrics of different textures are discussed.
